TERMITE INSPECTION AND TERMITE TREATMENTS

We specialise in providing termite inspections and termite treatments to both established and new buildings. After completing a thorough inspection and report to your property by using the latest tools and technology (including moisture meter and movement detection equipment called a 'Termatrac' and Thermal Camera), we can then recommend the most appropriate treatment, such as termite chemical barrier treatments, termite baiting and termite monitoring treatments, termite dusting applications, or direct termite colony elimination.
Areas we inspect where accessible:
- Internal areas including door and window frames, skirting boards
- Subfloor areas
- Roof void area
- External Areas (up to 50m or to property boundaries including fences, tree stumps, retaining walls, landscaping timbers, carports, garage, sheds
Termite Inspections are carried out to the Australian Standard and usually take approximately 1.5-3 hrs to complete. A detailed report with photos is supplied to the client.
What Should I Do:
If you have found termites or suspect termites:
- Do not disturb them. This includes pulling the timber apart.
- Do not Spray them.
- Call us immediately.
By Disturbing the termites this can sometimes have an effect on the treatment options that may be available. It could also encourage them to move to other areas of the property.

TERMITE CHEMICAL TREATMENT
- Carried out to Australian Standard A.S.3660.2
- Trench and treat soil abutting walls both externally around building and in the subfloor area.
- Trench and treat around all piers in the subfloor area.
- Drill and inject concrete abutting walls of building.
- Certificate of Application issued after completion of treatment.
- We return in 1 month after the treatment to inspect for activity and give the approval for repairs to commence.
- We return in 6 months after the treatment to carry out another inspection on the property.
TERMITE BAITING AND MONITORING
After the Inspection and assessing the activity levels,
- We install1-2 Above ground bating stations to areas of activity. Bait is added to the stations.
- We return approximately every 4 weeks to inspect the stations and replace the bait as required.
- Once the colony is eliminated we install the monitoring stations around the property.
- Monitoring stations are inspected every 8 weeks and if we find active termites present we install bait into the stations.
